WILSON

Rescued from Gwinnett Co. Animal Control
Wilson had 3 legs and only 1 day to live!

Wilson was rescued from Animal Control the day before he was to die! We didn't care that he only had three legs, he had a great temperament and deserved the chance to live the happy life he should have had from the beginning. Just one week after coming to us, Wilson went home with his new family. They report he is doing great and that they really love him.

GISELLE

Giselle and her 5 siblings was rescued from Animal Control and they were only six weeks old! They were headed for the gas chamber and we could not let this wonderful litter die a horrible death! Their foster Mom said they were the best pups she had ever fostered. Giselle's adopted family recently contacted us to give us an an update on Giselle:

"Giselle is now 18 months old and fifty pounds of absolute gentleness. She is an amazing girl dog. Everywhere we go, she proves to be a true people pleaser. She has gone through obedience training and received the award for most sociable and most accomplished. She recently passed her testing and is now a certified therapy dog bringing much enjoyment to both young and old in healthcare facilities throughout the Macon area.

When she is not out for walks, dinner or socialization at various facilities, she enjoys romping with her best friend, Jordan, who is a ten pound yorkie that we got after being rescued from a puppy mill. They do virtually everything together and are inseparable. We cannot imagine being without her. She is truly a slice of heaven and has the most humble spirit unless she is guarding our privacy garden then you do not come close as she is extremely protective of her family. We told everyone that she was a Keeshound mix until we recently saw pictures of the Finnish Lapphund and after reading the characteristics realized she is very close to this breed.  No matter what she is, she is the most amazing dog. She is more human than dog and loves to cuddle and is never far from our side."
