MADDIE

Maddie has been a great addition to the family. She and one of the cats have become great friends - Cody (cat) takes walks with Maddie and me all the time.

This weekend was Maddie's first of many trips to our cabin in N.GA. She loved it. Since she had been doing so well with her training we decided to let her be off leash. She stayed by us and listened when we told her to stay close or come. We also took her swimming at Crater Lake. She has been swimming at Stone Mtn and Yellow River. She absolutely loves the water and can't seem to get enough. It must be the lab in her - she is a tremendous swimmer.

We also took her for her first mtn bike ride. Since she is still growing we only did a short 3 mile ride at a pretty slow pace. She was amazing and stayed with us the whole time.

Needless to say - she slept like a log both nights :)

We love her very much and thank you for giving her a good start in life.
